The purpose of this site is to help inform you of the services that RCS provides to the public. All of our services are completely free to those who qualify.

Each of our programs are continually expanding to better suit the needs of those who utilize the services we offer.

Incorporated April 4, 1979, as Randolph Community Services, Inc., we began legally doing business as Regional Consolidated Services on June 17, 1988.  The name change was a result of expansion into other counties in North Carolina.

RCS is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) human services agency.  Headquartered in Asheboro, we provide services to residents in six counties.  Not all services are offered in each county.  See below for breakdown.

The agency founder and executive director is Janice S. Scarborough.  The agency is governed by an eight member Board of Directors.
